Espanso Studio Privacy Policy

Inside the Mac app
Espanso Studio does not require an account, include advertising, or send your snippets, configuration, backups, license key, or usage analytics to Apecoo. These remain on your computer. Update checks and downloads request public release files hosted on GitHub; GitHub may receive ordinary connection data such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested file, under GitHub's own privacy terms. Apecoo receives no information from an update check.
Purchases and support
When you buy Espanso Studio, Stripe processes your payment, billing address and receipt under Stripe's own privacy terms, and the charge appears as a payment to Apecoo LLC. Apecoo receives the customer name, email, transaction identifiers, and product purchased so it can issue the license, provide support, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and keep legally required business records. Support messages contain the information you choose to send.
Sharing and retention
We use service providers only to operate the product: Stripe for commerce, Resend for transactional email, GitHub for downloads, and our website/database hosts. We do not sell personal information. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, customer support, and license re-delivery. Support correspondence is removed when no longer needed.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct purchase information, or request deletion where legal record-keeping duties allow it. Contact us through the page below. Removing the app deletes the app itself; its settings and Espanso files can be removed separately from your Mac.
