Apecoo MathQuest Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Apecoo LLC ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use Apecoo MathQuest ("the App") on iOS, iPadOS, and Android. The App helps children and students practice column arithmetic — division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction — step by step.

1. Summary

Apecoo MathQuest is designed to work offline. We do not require an account, we do not show ads, and we do not collect personal information on our servers. Practice settings and test history are stored locally on your device only.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store the following data locally using your device's storage (for example, through AsyncStorage):

• App settings: language, practice mode, difficulty options, and problem counts.
• Test history: completed quiz summaries such as date, operation type, score, and step counts.
• Session data: in-progress answers, scratch-paper drawings, and custom problem lists exist only while you use a practice or test session and are not uploaded to us.

This information stays on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store this data. If you delete the App, locally stored data is removed according to your device's behavior.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information
• Precise location data
• Photos, contacts, or files from your device
• Advertising identifiers for behavioral advertising
• Analytics or usage profiles tied to your identity

The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or social features.

4. Network Access

The published App does not need an internet connection for core learning features. Developer builds may use local network access on your Wi-Fi to connect to a development computer during app creation; that access is not used in the normal App Store or Google Play version.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The App is directed to children and families (typically ages 6–11) for educational math practice. We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• We do not require children to create an account or enter personal details to use the App.
• We do not enable children to publicly share personal information through the App.
• We do not use behavioral advertising directed at children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses standard platform and framework components only, such as:

• Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and optional store analytics under each platform's policies
• Expo / React Native — app framework; the App does not send your practice data to us through these tools

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for advertising.

7. Your Choices

• You can clear test history inside the App's settings.
• You can reset app settings at any time within the App.
• You can delete all locally stored App data by uninstalling the App from your device.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
